On April 22, Ms. Juliana Bonitz, Head of International Exchange and Cooperation at TUM ForTe (the Research and Innovation Office of the Technical University of Munich, TUM), led a 14–member delegation to visit the Fundamental Industry Training Center. The delegation consisted of five startup teams, with business focuses spanning artificial intelligence, software development, vehicle transportation, healthcare, and sustainable energy. Li Fan, deputy director of the Center’s Teaching and Research Section, accompanied the group during the visit.

Later the same day, a delegation from Swissmem paid a visit to the Center. Li Fan escorted the visitors and engaged in discussions with representatives from Swissmem and its member enterprises on nurturing future-oriented engineering and technical talents.

Based in Bavaria, Germany, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) signed a flagship partnership memorandum with Tsinghua University in 2020. The two universities have maintained long-term cooperation in joint scientific research, student exchange, joint talent cultivation, innovation and entrepreneurship, and training programs. TUM ForTe serves as TUM’s core coordinating body for external cooperation, overseeing technology transfer, innovation, and various forms of research and business collaborations.
