There are a total of 107 faculty members in the Training Center, with 81 members directly engaged in teaching.

The 8 teachers include 1 professor and 7 associate professors with 6 having doctoral degrees, 1 master’s degree and 1 bachelor’s degree.

There are 27 experimental and engineering technical team members, of whom 10 hold sub-senior professional titles of qualifications (senior engineer, senior experimentalist and so on.), 10 intermediate professional titles of qualifications and 7 technicians. Among all of the technical team members, 1 has a doctoral degree and 6 have master’s degrees.

Fundamental Industry Training Center Selected as National Teaching Teams

As per the Notice of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance Program Proposal in Building 2009 National Teaching Teams issued by the General Office of the Ministry of Education, Tsinghua had 4 teaching teams selected, among which was the “Teaching Team for Course Series in Engineering Training”, led by Professor Fu Shuigen of the Fundamental Industry Training Center.

According to the Opinions of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance on Implementing the Undergraduate Teaching Quality and Teaching Reform Project of Colleges and Universities (J.G.[2007] Document No. 1), in order to improve teachers’ qualities and teaching ability of Chinese colleges and universities and to ensure better quality in higher education, the teaching team building program has been approved to be included in the undergraduate teaching quality and teaching reform project of colleges and universities.
