On November 17th, a delegation of international engineering education experts visited the Training Center. The delegation included Professor Greet Langie, former vice dean of the Faculty of Engineering Technology at KU Leuven and vice chair of the European Society for Engineering Education (SEFI); Professor Mike Murphy, former chair of SEFI from Dublin Institute of Technology; professor Reinhart Poprawe, former vice president of RWTH Aachen University; professor Luis Ruiz, President-elect of the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) from Universitat Politècnica de València; and a research team from the National Multidisciplinary Cross-innovation and Talent Introduction Base for Engineering Education at Tsinghua. Yang Jianxin, deputy director of the Training Center, and Li Fan, deputy director of the Teaching and Research Office, accompanied the guests and introduced the recent achievements in teaching and laboratory construction.

During the visit, both sides exchanged ideas on engineering education and the cultivation of top-tier innovative talent. The guests praised the Center’s laboratory setup, teaching content, and instructional model, expressing their hope to organize more visits for teachers and students to engage in exchanges and learning at the Center in the future.
