The online/offline acceptance meeting for the key Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) R&D project "Research and Application Demonstration of the End-to-End Collaborative Innovation Incubation Service Platform Based on Internet+" was held on December 4. Li Shuangshou, the Project Lead and Director of the Fundamental Industry Training Center of Tsinghua University, gave a report on the implementation of the project. Relevant leaders and experts from the High-tech R&D Center of the MOST listened to the report online. After inquiries and discussions by experts, the project passed the performance evaluation.

On December 25, the 2019 annual project conclusion meeting for the "Research on Coordinated Use of the Two Markets to Ensure National Food Security" project was held at the Guo'erzhao Hotel. The Training Center successfully concluded two think-tank consulting projects, Research on Actively Responding to Sino-US Trade Frictions and Guaranteeing the Effective Supply of Soybeans for China and Research on the Development Strategy of China's Tiger Nuts Industry.

In 2021, the Training Center applied for 11 university laboratory innovation fund projects and completed 16 projects, completed 8 undergraduate teaching reform projects with 4 still ongoing, and applied for 1 new special fund project for improving the basic operation conditions of central colleges and universities. It is currently leading 22 ongoing research projects, with pending applications for 3 new projects.
