On December 11, the 23rd China Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition hosted by the Chinese Society for Artificial Intelligence was held in Chongqing. At the competition, the Tsinghua teams stood out from among the over 1,000 teams from 220 universities, winning three national first prizes, one national second prize, and three national third prizes.

Tsinghua University's AI Innovation and Entrepreneurship Capability Enhancement Certificate Program (Hereinafter referred to as AI Innovation Certificate Program) created a number of teams for this competition. Zhou Jin, Executive Director of the AI Innovation Certificate Program and Director of the iCenter Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, along with Guo Min and Chen Zhen, teachers at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, served as instructors.

On October 24, the finals of the 2021 China National Undergraduate Engineering Practice and Innovation Ability Competition came to a successful conclusion. This competition was comprised of three tracks, engineering basics, Intelligence+, and virtual simulation. A total of 66,000 students in 19,000 teams from 690 colleges and universities and 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps participated in the competition. The participants put the engineering practice and innovation capabilities of Chinese students on full display in this elite and distinctively Chinese engineering innovation event.

The results announced by the competition's Organizing Committee on November 26 showed that Tsinghua teams had achieved their best results ever, with two gold, one silver, and two bronze medals. The Training Center actively organized and supported our teachers and students as they prepared for this competition.
