A Map of Student Distribution in China
After the Training Center's Mechanical Manufacturing Internship MOOC launched on Tsinghua University's XuetangX platform, 5,866 students enrolled in the 2020 spring semester and 4,535 in the fall. These totals accounted for more than 95.17% and 93.01% of the total students enrolled in other courses on the platform. While ensuring our online practice-based classes are all of high quality, we are actively exploring new models for practice-based engineering education. This approach also allows us to provide support to sister colleges and universities that cannot offer practice-based courses in person during the COVID-19 pandemic.
